Pottery is one of the oldest human inventions known to mankind
The process
The process of pottery creation is a meticulous blend of tradition, artistry, and precision. It begins with the careful selection of high-quality clay, chosen for its durability and ability to take on intricate designs. Once prepared, the clay is skilfully shaped by hand to craft unique forms tailored for both beauty and function.
After shaping, the pieces undergo a drying phase to eliminate moisture, ensuring strength and preventing cracks during the firing process. The pottery is then fired at high temperatures in a kiln, solidifying its structure and resilience.
To add the final touch, a variety of health-safe, non-toxic glazes are applied, giving each piece vibrant colours and a smooth, polished finish that is both functional and decorative.
